hello all,
this is my first post in this forum, i am a memeber of the pistonheads and i wanted to post also here as i am looking for service providers in germany ...(sorry that i am posting in english)

i have a 1997 chimaera 4.0 l which is in Turkey
i would like to renew and upgrade the car and i am considering to take it to germany to a specialized service provider.

i would like to do the following works :
- do the bodylift and galvanize the chasis
- check the engine and upgrade the engine / brakes / suspension/ manifold / exhaust ( act performance kits ect ?)
- headlight conversion




can anyone estimate the cost ? or suggest a service for these works in germany ?

Herr Kleppe at Fa. Bornemann in Braunschweig or Michael Pietschmann are the first 2 that come to my mind.
But if you drive the car 2000 km to Germany you might aswell drive it another 1000 km and take it home to England. This would probably be quite a bit cheaper as the british pound is weak at the moment and the labour rates are generally lower.
For enginetuning in GB i would either go to V8D for conventional tuning or to TVR-Power to fit a supercharger.
I´ve had a respray and lightconversion at Surface&Design in Blackpool who did a great job.

for info : i wont be driving the car to the service, ill send it by a truck .

im not sure about the turbo charger also ... i think ill go for a conventional tuning...
